Our Vision

SPMA Provides Adventure With A Purpose

SPMA is a Christian Non-Profit 501 (c)(3) dedicated to providing spiritual, health, wellness, economic and women’s projects to empower the indigenous and marginalized populations of Panama.

This is accomplished by various means- partnership with Panamanian Ministry of Health and Education and volunteer short-term mission teams.

SPMA provides health care through general medicine, dentistry, optomology, women’s health, chiropractic, and occupational/physical therapy. Our partnership with local churches and MINSA (government health department) we are able to coordinate common goals for maximum effectiveness.

SPMA also engages in economic development projects that empower local constituents to achieving self-reliability and sustainability. Projects such as clean water, chimney stoves, agricultural projects such as coffee processing and food cultivation are essential projects to economic social action. Sewing workshops are an integral part of teaching women the marketing of their trade craft.

Educational projects such as construction of schools, churches, and the installation of libraries help promote and meet the educational needs of the communities.

Spiritual wellness is the heart of what we do as we partner and empower local churches in their efforts of ministry to these populations of Panama.
